How to power down the stage and production desk
Powering down the stage outlets, foyer TV, confidence TV, and production desk requires the same Master Key as is used for power-up. If you do not have this key in your possession, refer to the Power-Up article for steps how to obtain it.
Switch off power
Make sure the computers at the production desk are properly shut down before switching off power. Note that the multi-view screen may still display the camera feeds as this is connected to the video mixer and not to a computer.
Insert the Master Key into the key switch to the left of the soundboard.
Hold the key momentarily in the 1 position and let it return to the 0 position. This will start a power-down sequence, one system at a time. After approximately one minute, the TV screens, stage outlets, and production desk will be powered off.
Remove the Master Key from the key switch.
Lock production desk cebinets
Make sure all wireless microphones are in place and all iPads are returned and connected to charging cables, then lock the left Production Desk Cabinet with the Master Key.
Make sure all iPhones and wireless presenters are in place, then lock the right Production Desk Cabinet with the Master Key.
Also make sure that all cabinets in the backstage room are locked.
Secure the Master Key
Go to the church office and locate the IBF mail shelf.
Find the key safe and set its combination lock to 1419.
Open the key safe and place the Master Key onto the key hook inside the key safe.
Close the key safe.
Swipe up on all dials until the combination reads 0000.
Return the key safe to the IBF mail shelf.
Result
You now have locked the production desk cabinets, powered down the foyer and confidence screens, stage outlets, and the production equipment, and returned the Master Key securely to the IBF mail shelf.
