Sermons by Trey Sklar
In our first ever Church Online service, Paul presented an update on the coronavirus measures ordered by the Swiss authorities and IBF’s decision to suspend Worship Services at our church building for the next several weeks. Trey gave us a message about Wisdom, Family, and our resposibilities to others in times like these.
Tonight our topic was: which path will we take in life? Will we take the wise path, or the foolish path? With our bodies, with our thoughts, with our minds, what will we do with our life? Thanks Trey!
It is always good to be made much of for a good purpose, and not only when I am present with you, my little children, for whom I am again in the anguish of childbirth until Christ is formed in you!
“And the more I considered Christianity, the more I found that while it had established a rule and order, the chief aim of of that order was to give room for good things to run wild.”
May you be blessed by the Lord, my daughter. You have made this last kindness greater than the first in that you have not gone after young men, whether poor or rich. And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you ask, for all my fellow townsmen know that you are a worthy woman. And now it is true that I am a redeemer. Yet there is a redeemer nearer than I.
