Not so much a matter of great faith in God but rather faith in a great God.
You turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
The church is a living organism and not a static institution. Church is much more than a 90 minute service held once a week.
Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
Our job is not yet done.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
